I've always loved arts and crafts, especially needlecrafts, ever since I learned to knit and sew at junior school. I made my first miniature bear when I was about 13 and over the years I've had a dabble with many different hobbies. Then in 2001 I visited the Alexandra Palace Bear Show and came home with two bear kits. That was it - I was hooked! Soon after that, I began designing my own patterns and ended up with a full time job as a bear artist. I now work full time in an office, but have been drawn back to making and designing little bears again in my spare time.
